A Rolls-Royce Cullinan, towing a supercar across Sydney
Sydney, August 2026

A Rolls-Royce Cullinan, towing a supercar across Sydney

A Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a trailer, and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS on the back of it. There is a good reason, and it is the whole point.

What you are looking at

You do not see this every day.

A client was already out in a Ferrari 812 Superfast when it picked up a flat. Rather than end the hire, the replacement supercar was loaded and driven to them behind the Cullinan.

The full recovery, start to finish. Tap for sound.

The three cars in this story

  • Rolls-Royce Cullinan

    Rolls-Royce Cullinan

The car doing the towing. A Cullinan is not a recovery vehicle by anyone's definition, which is exactly why the footage travels. It is also the calmest car in the fleet to arrive in.

The replacement. A naturally aspirated, track-bred 911 delivered to a client at the kerb because the day was not going to stop for a flat tyre.

How the day actually ran

  1. 01

    The call

The client was mid-hire in the Ferrari when it picked up a flat. One call to the office and the second car was already being prepared.

  2. 02

    The replacement moves

The GT3 RS went on the trailer and went to them, behind the Cullinan. Not a promise to sort it later. A car, on the road.

  3. 03

    The swap

The client stepped out of one supercar and into the other at the kerb, and the day carried on the same day, without the booking being cut short.

  4. 04

    The quiet part

The Ferrari was recovered afterwards, on our time, not theirs. That is the difference between a plan and an apology.

Why we could do this at all

Because the cars belong to us. A fleet brokered between operators on the morning cannot send a second supercar across Sydney at short notice, because the cars are not theirs to redirect. Ours are, so a backup car sits behind every confirmed booking and nobody has to be asked for permission.

It is also why we hold cars back rather than booking every one of them out on a Saturday. Capacity that looks like lost revenue on a spreadsheet is exactly what a day like this spends. More on how the fleet is run.

The questions people ask

Can a Rolls-Royce Cullinan tow?

It can, and on this day it did, hauling a trailer with a Porsche 911 GT3 RS on it across Sydney. It is not what a Cullinan is built for, which is why the footage gets the reaction it does.

What happens if my wedding car breaks down on the day?

Every G Class Hire booking has a backup car behind it. If a car cannot continue, a replacement is sent to you rather than the hire simply ending. The film on this page is one of those days.

Do luxury car hire companies really keep a backup car?

Some do and many do not. An operator brokering cars between other suppliers usually cannot, because the cars are not theirs to redirect. Ask any company you are considering what happens if a car goes down, and see whether the answer has detail in it.

Does a backup car cost extra?

No. It is part of how a booking is run, not an add-on, and it is never charged for.

Ahmed communicated exceptionally well from the very beginning, right through to the car arriving at the venue. The car itself was stunning and made the day even more memorable.

From the first call to the final drop-off, they delivered on every promise and more. I hired a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and it was perfect, and our driver Eduardo was amazing.
